Originally the wx terminal didn't work properly under Aqua, but now it does (the -wxcocoa option), so I wanted to provide a variety of different alternatives. I probably should have considered having "gnuplot" name automatically update to gnuplot-wxgtk, rather than keeping the name for a build without wx or Qt. All of these are separate builds builds of gnuplot with different options.
