Hi, I am doing an update on a fink installation I set up last year on a then-new iMac, running OS 10.8. I did a selfupdate with no problem, and then ran 'fink update-all'. It purred along busily for a while, but ultimately terminated with an error. This error was not fixed by repetition, but I did capture the output. Starting at the end, here are the informative bits:

I have another system running Mac OS 10.8 (Mountain Lion), with fink, and selfupdate and update-all both ran fine without any hiccups. I am not sure what the difference is, except that the system having problems has probably gone longer without an update. I am hoping that there will be some way to recover from this without removing and reinstalling from scratch... thanks in advance, Jeff ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Start Your Social Network Today - Download eXo Platform Build your Enterprise Intranet with eXo Platform Software Java Based Open Source Intranet - Social, Extensible, Cloud Ready Get Started Now And Turn Your Intranet Into A Collaboration Platform http://p.sf.net/sfu/ExoPlatform _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list Fink-users@lists.sourceforge.net List archive: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.os.macosx.fink.user Subscription management: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
