If you did “reinstall” rather than “rebuild” that might not have changed anything even if bison were the culprit, since this is a build-time issue—“reinstall” normally just uses package archives which already have been built. Yeah, we’ll have to look elsewhere, unfortunately. I’m doing a new build and log because my prior one was using an updated version of the octave-3.8.2 packaging which hasn’t been released yet.
