Sean,
     This is due to incompatibilities in the FSF gcc 4.9.3 build against
the new clang based assembler in Xcode 7. The gcc 5.2 release already has
this fixed and the fix is also committed upstream in 4.9.4svn but I haven't
gotten around to back porting the fix to the current gcc49 packaging.
