I just discovered Finnix and I think it's great, as a tech I find it very
helpful to be able to load straight into a terminal session and have root
already to go, but the one issue I have is that I cannot eject the media and
continue to run my tasks. This is important to me because I would like to use
Finnix and the terminal command shred to handle all of my data wiping needs.
Before I started using Finnix I would use Ubuntu's install media as a live CD,
this worked out because I able to start it on several systems at once by
letting it load into the system and then ejecting the media and putting it into
the next system. Is there anyway to mimic Ubuntu's live CD so that Finnix could
be ejected the same way?

At one time I tired to make my own live CD that would have been very similar to
Finnix but it did not go as planned but maybe the tutorial would be of some
help https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCDCustomizationFromScratch

Thanks,
Kevin
