The name space for Numerical python was changed from Numeric to numpy. The changes required for this have been merged from a branch today. This is an important update as the old Numeric will slowly become obsolete. Note that as from today, FiPy's trunk is no longer compatible with Numeric and thus future release of FiPy will no longer be compatible with Numeric. If you use trunk and you do an update then you will have take the following steps: - Get the latest version of numpy from <http://www.numpy.org>. - Get the latest version of scipy from <http://www.scipy.org>. - Check out a copy of pysparse using CVS. Instructions at <http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=101403> and run "python setup.py install".
