Thanks Daniel!

How do I update to trunk?

Do I use the same svn syntax and just modify the folder from which I obtain the source and install again?

Another question...

I am using Ubuntu 7.04. I installed Python 2.5, but mayavi seems to look for Python 2.4 when is being installed.

I understand that mayavi2 is compatible with Python 2.5.

Do you know if mayavi2 works with Fipy?

Any fix to make mayavi work with Python 2.4?

Thanks!

Hi Raymundo,

Thanks for the email. The first test always fails and we have never
been able to fix
it. It may not even be a desired behaviour. We should just remove the
test at this point.

I tested STABLE and didn't get the second test failure. I remember that
failure being some sort of intermittent problem. I think we fixed it,
but you will
probably have to update to trunk to get the fix. I assume you were just
running "python setup.py test" with no flags. Alternatively, if the
problem doesn't
show up in your scripts then I wouldn't worry about the failure.

There might be an argument for fixing this problem for 1.2. Jon, do you remember
the fix for this? Is it this business?

STABLE doesn't have this fix.

One had to do with fipy.variables.variable.Variable.__array
