Heh. I typed out all those things and forgot to mention the one
that is most important to me and although I've asked about it I've never
gotten an answer. Why can't you send messages to yourself? I'm
assuming that this is specifically prohibited by Fire itself as it
doesn't pop up a window when you choose one of your own names. Now,
this is a VERY important debugging feature for me because I often hit a
point where I get weird messages from the server and don't realize I've
actually been kicked off until Fire finally realizes it. I also like to
be able to check that I have indeed formatted my profile correctly and
such.
Now, I'm assuming that this has been disabled in case you send
yourself a message when you have an auto-response set as Fire used to
die in an infinite loop, but could there be preference to enable it?
Morgan
