After typing my last reply (quoted at the end of this e-mail) I
realized something key... as I said, I've been using Fire for a LONG
time. Heh, and all the files (prefs, settings, etc.) are all the
originals although they've been added to time and time again. So I
decided to do something I should have done a LONG time ago: deleted my
selves from my buddy list and added them new. Worked like a charm,
hopefully if any of you are having the same problem then that'll help
you too. I should have thought of that in the first place though :-\
