Not too sure in the long run. Doubtful to any serious degree in the very
near (like next two weeks) future.

As a preference, this would be pretty nice.

No. I've used this before. It doesn't work when you have 15 tabs (which
I routinly have as many windows in Fire, or more if I'm doing lots of
private messaging in IRC)

This would be pretty nice. I don't know how well the attaching code could
be used for window->window relationships.

There are a couple of GUIs for other *nix variants that do this. I think
there's a few for XDarwin now that I think about it.

This sounds a *lot* like NeXT's interface. (basically, like the Dock,
except you could have the icons from the dock floating anywhere...)

     -???

Perhaps on another day. I'm kinda happy with the interface as is (though
Colter has a copy of the newer, more compact and more Aqua-like
notification windows...though I dunno if people are too attached to the
old ones)

I suppose I haven't really found any of this to be a problem. But I like
a Borgesian screen ;-)
