I was one of the people reporting this problem. It had been suggested to me
that the problem may be related to NAT problems. At the time, my network
was configured as follows:
3Com Cable Modem to Time Warner
Linksys Wireless Access Point/Router issuing DHCP addresses to the network
Mac OS X Server running as a caching DNS server
My problem magically went away when I put a Windows 2000 server in place to
act as both the DHCP server as well as the DNS server.
It is worth noting that I was experiencing this problem with the official
Yahoo Messenger client as well.
