Title: Tried Proteus
And am having the same problem. MSN is the only one that doesn’t connect.
BTW, Proteus does have a lot of nice little features – though Fire seems cleaner. I like the Proteus right hand global menu bar – its extremely nice.
Anyway, my point is that the Windows third party MSN apps work – MSN itself works, but neither Proteus nor Fire work with MSN.
I love Fire for all that it does and I hate the MSN app – but I have 40+ people on MSN and two on AIM and one on Yahoo....
So it sounds like the issue is with the MSN library not working through a natd connection. Again, if anybody here has setup a firewall/natd server using OS X or FreeBSD with natd/ipfw – please let me know so I can fix this!
