Hmm, someone suggested this might be to do with "multiple accounts". I
normally sign in via an alias so I tried my primary Yahoo account and that
worked. Sort of. It didn't show most of my buddies online but it did
connect.
So, it looks like a bug with Fire not doing the right thing if you try to
sign on using an alias (an alternative profile). Which sux :(
