Allow me to expand on this.

For a few days now, I am unable to get my Yahoo! buddies accurately
listed in v0.31.a (when I can login with Fire).

Everybody appears to be offline, and in fact I get a pretty accurate
snapshot of who was online at the moment I started Fire by looking at
the console and reading the slew of "XXXXX has logged off" messages I
get upon login. Sending and receiving messages works, file transfer
(either way) doesn't.

I have reverted to using the "native" Y! client (which sucks in terms of
UI, BTW) until a) there is a fix or b) I can spare the time to compile
it myself and try to figure it out.

As a sidenote, a Y! script a friend of mine developed (wrapped around
the ari-yahoo Unix command line tool) has started to spit out "0),buddy
has logged in" messages around the same time, which suggests Y! changed
the protocol again.

Hope this helps somebody.
