"We" would expect to find small children listed but only if the Japanese
treat these as we would, that is, as "suicides."  I'm not sure they do.
I'll look in Dave Kopel's book the next time I'm in the office.  My
original point was that they aren't considered to be murders.  That
still stands.

The point is, if murder-suicides are listed as suicides, then we'd
expect to see some
'suicides' of small children in the statistics.
