I just tested the new 3.0.0 Release (Build 32483) fbclient.dll against a Firebird 2.5.5 database. It takes ages (about 1 second) to attach to the database. Connection to a Firebird 3.0 database is quick as ever. Are there plans to speed this up? It's quite annoying.
