Well, as you have told that is your opinion ;) You can do the LoadLibrary call manually to solve the problem, the provider is not going to do so for 2 reasons:
1. That didn't work with mono on linux 2. The provider uses PInvoke to access the fbembeded.dll and should follow the PInvoke rules.
