But if i undestand well, what you say is not true :) I'm using embedded server (i choose firebird for the reason) from 2 years, without a not-solvable problem. I have made with the embedded server (and always with .net provide ofc) about 100 applications, and 2 big one. For all the problems i had, you can find in this list the solution.
