Maybe you are right. Provider 2.1 is in pre-RC state and will be bad if
refactoring cause new problems.
1) Buffer length not related to FB 2.1.
Yes, but actual code is working, and that change can wait until we have the new
GDS for the 2.1 of the server initially implemented ( that maybe the time to
rework all the buffer handling code )
