It's impossible. Newest Interbase server has version 8 and protocol didn't change in each version, so protocol version can't be greater than server version. So i think that "version 10" sounds very strange. I think old protocol has version 1, because FB (not IB) didn't have any other protocols before. Now it has new protocol and it's a second version... Maybe Carlos thinked about ODS version. But i don't understand how ODS version related to protocol version. If you called namespace ODS10, does it mean that it's possible to work via this protocol wid DB with ODS 9, 8 ets... And if you call it ODS11 than can i work with ODS 12, 13, ets... I think it's not clear, so it's a bad namespace name (Version _10).
