Hello,
I have a similar problem.
I want to use firebird.dotnetprovider with VS2010 and Entity Framework

1. I successfully installed Firebird .NET Data Provider V2.5.2 with
the .msi installer
2. Downloaded and unpacked DDEX V2.0.5
3. gacutil /i FirebirdSql.VisualStudio.DataTools.dll
4. edit C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319
\Config\machine.config
5. Import registry file
6. Starting VS2010 on Windows7
7. I select the Connect to Database button in the Server Explorer window
a. There is not Firebird (only Access, ODBC, SQLSErver and Oracle)

Whats wrong?

Best regards,
Timo
