I have already put the EF6 provider into GAC but as I said 3-5 emails ago,
gacutil -u FirebirdSql.Data.FirebirdClient
Tough I am still getting a message saying that the version 3.0.2.0 is still
registered but cannot be uninstalled because its in use from some other
application...
(Maybe firebird server or Sql Manager Lite for Firebird ?!?)
So I guess that 3.0.2.0 is still in GAC and cannot be uninstalled is the root
of my problem.
Do you know a way to figure out what application is using the 3.0.2.0 version
that cant be uninstalled threw the gacutil -u command?
