no this would suck! especially if by activate firebug you mean load
its its windowframe!. .. and so would option 1.. both your suggestions
suck.

get it to how it was before.. just because I use the inspect element
tool.. doesn't always mean I want the firebug window opening up! ...
reason being is that inspect element highlitinig is quick way of
seeing the layout of site elements.
