Thanks for the reply. I've tried once again creating a new profile, and i've double checked that only firebug was in my addons list. Yet nothing happened.
The javascript error console returns no errors what so ever. looks like firebug doesn't like my firefox or computer :( Is there any way to start firefox in debug mode except jsconsole?
