I am experiencing the same problem. I cannot work on my application (Intranet, JavaScript heavy) at all with FB open. It eats up 100% CPU during page load (lots of JavaScript init stuff) and anytime I click on a link that triggers JavaScript execution.
Come on guys, why does FB introduce new bugs every time I upgrade it? What happened to the good old days when Firebug just worked without interfering when we were using Firefox 2?
