If you want to test Firefox, then you can use the nightly builds and tools that go with it. I would not recommend it, since the nightly build has zero testing for Firebug and for the jsd layer of Firefox that it depends upon. If you want to play with new Firefox and Firebug features, then you'll probably be better off using the Aurora Firefox channel and Firebug alpha releases. This is the channel we use for developing and testing new versions of Firebug. Firebug & Firefox team collaborate to test Firefox nightly builds *after* they are built using the testbot: http://getfirebug.com/testresults These results are no monitored and nightly builds can crash or fail.
