I would like to do an AJAX call to a pdf-file and wheter it is 200, use code, or if its 404, use another code. So i can see the Firebug- Console can get the status and displayes it. How does this work? All my intentions to get this statusCode in the Request failed. So i would like to know how Firebug get's this informations while doing the ajax- request.
