I'm not sure which add-on is to blame, but apparently these two are not working together and only after updating to 1.10.5 or higher. I'll send this to the creator of the add-on who is very popular on the social network Tumblr too, but I'm wondering if there's something changed in between 1.10.4 and 1.10.5 to cause this behaviour.
Steps to reproduce: 1) Install Firebug 1.10.5 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/firebug/versions/?page=1#version-1.10.5 2) Install Missing-e Tumblr Extension 2.14.1 http://missing-e.com/ 3) Go to any tumblr blog (e.g., http://staff.tumblr.com) and click the Firebug icon or Right Click > Inspect Element to launch Firebug. 4) Refresh the page with Firebug open 5) Firefox Crashes 6) Roll back and install Firebug 1.10.4 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/firebug/versions/?page=1#version-1.10.4 7) Repeat steps 3 and 4 8) Firefox no longer crashes This crash occurs having either the Console or Script tabs enabled. When and only when both are disabled will Firefox stop crashing on tumblr blogs.
