This may be the same problem as described in 
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/firebug/G-qL3uHm11Q. That bug is 
already fixed for Firefox 18.
Please note that Firefox crashes are not something add-on developers can 
fix. Crashes need to be reported to Mozilla:

http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Mozilla%20Crash%20Reporter

If Firebug is related to a crash you may want to let us know by posting the 
URL to the Bugzilla report, though.
