I don't know if this applies to his problem or not, but is there a port
of Win2000 for Linux? <huge grin, tongue in cheek> I run Samba under
highly modified Linux and it has worked flawlessly for four+ years. My
advice to solve the problem is simply upgrade. The latest version of
Samba has a *lot* of the old bugs fixed, including TCP-NODELAY, which I
suspect is part of the problem, but not certain.
