Hello all
I'm looking for reccomendations for an http proxy that allows my client
browsers to do ftp within the browser. I'm currently using http-gw from
the TIS FWTK v2.1 but I keep getting 500 illegal port command errors.
http-gw works fine other than that, and ftp-gw is also working properly
(from command line ftp clients as well as anarchie, fetch etc).
I have patched both programs to allow for 230 responses and to allow the
use of data-port 20 in ftp. I am currently in the process of trying to fix
it, but I am running out of time.

Are there any other proxies in this price range (ie free) with source code
that support ftp either via http, or via another ftp-proxy in the browser
(ie netscape 4.x MSIE 4.x opera 3.5X) ?
Or if not, which commercial products support this feature and would be
reccomended? I have been told that there is no way to get my users to
learn how to ftp manually via the proxy, it HAS to be in the browser...

thank you.
