Martin,
I never used this product , just know about it from marketing
stuff/technical white papers , but may be you would like to take a look at
http://www.cabletron.com/smartswitch-router/
where you can find pointers to the whole product line and look for the one
that best fit your needs.
They do wire-speed layer 2/3/4 switching , IP/IPX routing ,and also have
support for WAN connections.
