Yes, apart from that.

The project that I am currently on requires an analysis of the
advantages/disadvantages of NAT as regards network security and
functionality.  Most of it is finished, but I am trying to be thorough and
present a complete analysis.

You mean apart from translation of the IP address in the FTP PORT command?
Most (all?) NAT implementations support atleast that form of application
level address translation.
