Yes something more useful would be something like:

Can you tell me what registry settings, services, SP5 resets back to default
after being applied?

I have a few NT firewalls, in my view as secure as it can be, but I just
applied sp5 to them and I am looking at the settings I had changed (to make
it more secure) and can not see anything back to where it was originally?

I know that somebody here on this list wrote that service packs reset some
settings back to defaults.
