You have inbound dial, but you'd rather scan up to 200 machines to find
your network? If you do hit an illegality, your position won't be
fortified by that. FWIW, dial-up providers blocks are scanned quite often
these days compared to phone lines, so if you're looking for "someone's
targeting me specificly" you're probably right about the risk, but if it's
"someone might find and exploit me" it's the other way around.  That's
because (at least some) telcos have started tracking scans of phone number
blocks, but very few ISPs have.
