No desire receive messages !!! Thank you , [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------- De: Bryan McDonald[SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Enviada: Quarta-feira, 28 de Julho de 1999 05:00 Para: Aaron C. Springer Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Assunto: ADMIN: FIREWALLS [RE: Call for self-Moderation] Ok, this is enough for now. The last thing the list needs is a series of "me too's" on the list, exagerating the flow of messages even further. So far I have watched this running thread about legal issues with amazement, since some of the same people who object to the thread are the same ones propogating it. I will stomp on threads that are completely off topic (and you know who you are), but this is still security related, and of interest to people interested in firewall technology. I would love to see the members self-moderate their posting on the list, even if just in the well used method of simply waiting an extra few hours to post to see if someone else has posted the same response already. I don't have the cycles to moderate it myself (unless it gets really bad, and then I will be a real pain in the list about it). All conversation about this should stop now. If you want to talk more about list management, moderation (both of the list in in your postings), or other administrivia, send me the email, not the list. bigmac ============================================================================= Bryan McDonald Firewalls Postmaster Team Global Networking and Computing, Inc ============================================================================= > > I second the motion. > > shutdown -h now the whole legal thread... > > > acs > > > On 27-Jul-99 Bayard G.
