I am not sure about your exact flowchart below(specifically the placement
of the DMZ), there are others who can validate it on the list though.
As for Masq and etc. You can pretty much use any (newer) Linux, OpenBSD
etc. You will probably want a seperate box for each demark point and
possibly a different OS also (i.e. OpenBSD for the firewall, Linux for the
Internal Samba/NIS server). All the software is free and making ipchains
rules is getting pretty easy.
