How do you have your heartbeat configured? Do you have a serial
crossover, or just a tcp heartbeat? We haven't been able to get
the serial crossover working at all.

Are there any significant updates from version 2 to 3 that should
correct this problem? I don't want to have to update the software
and run into the same problems again. (Plus downtime is bad news ;).
