We are considering implementing a VPN solution using UUNet and Shiva LanRovers.
Has anyone had any experience with this solution? I am concerned with the
firewall component of the VPN Gateway; specifically:
This is a VPN gateway and firewall in one box?
If so, is there enough horsepower to perform both functions adequately?
Does the VPN and firewall belong in one box?
If not, should the VPN be in front of the firewall, or behind it?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
