Any port you open (even the necessary ones) does raise a security issue.
While firewalls serve an important function in locking as many doors as
possible, they are not a total solution. That is why I also brought up
the possiblity of removing the NetMeeting system from the network during
the demo. With viruses embedded in ad banners, pseudo-rtf files & web
pages no port is safe. You also need a high quality antivirus installed
and properly configured.
