You can find all current Tripwire downloads at:
http://www.tripwiresecurity.com/products/download.cfml
What you want is the Tripwire 1.3.1 ASR version, which is free and will run on HP-UX 10.20. It is a little buried because nearly all of the downloads these days are of our free offering to the Linux community of the 2.2.1 version (commercial version). Nearly all HP-UX users seem to elect to go with the commercial 2.2.1 version as well for the enhanced functionality and support, but it is not free.
I can't say much about it yet, but we are making some significant advances very quickly in supporting open source development of the ASR (academic source release) version, including staffing an official source gatekeeper and dedicating several marketing and business development persons to making sure it is easy to find, easy to use, and easy to contribute source improvements. This is obviously being subsidized by the very steep ramp in sales we have had over the last few months for the commercial versions. You can read the press release at http://www.tripwiresecurity.com/press_room/press_releases/opensource.cfml and watch http://www.tripwire.org for more over the next few months.
Hope that helps!

Subject: Free Tripwire?
My understanding is that there is a freeware version of Tripwire, but I have been unsuccessful at locating a site to download it from. I searched tripwire.com, tripwire.org, and Yahoo. Yahoo points to a site that supposedly has a freeware version of Tripwire, but the site appears to be a goner. Does anyone know if there is still a freeware version of Tripwire in existence and a reputable site where I can download it from? I need a version that runs on HP-UX 10.20.
Thanks,
-Dave
