My apologies to anyone free software devotees in the audience. I was not
trying to equate free software with bad software - I'm more than aware that
the free solutions offer experts a level of trust and flexibility that can't
be attained with commercial offerings.
I only used the word "free" because the Cyberpatrol software ships free with
Gauntlet.
Actually, my main gripe is installing a firewall and then also installing
untrusted tangential software. Now, who makes Cyberpatrol again? Oh, that's
right! Mattel! Well known for their security products such as "Packet
Filtering Princess" Barbie and "Dup'ed fragged XMAS RST" Barbie.[1]
Again, please cancel any orders of vengeful FSF goons coming to beat me with
GPL'ed rubber hoses.
Cheers,
