This has reasonable motivations. First, you need to keep up to date,
which is intellectually good for you. next, you need to buy upgrades.
if a version has no bugs, then it will be hard for them to sell you
new ones. last, this gives security consultant opportuinities to
earn money by customizing the installation for their customers.

anyway, if web pages are to be parsed by the HTTP proxy, by cyBUGpatrol,
by a CVP aware anti-virus checking server, by an eventual squid inside,
then the poor page ill certainly loose its colors, and the user will
loose patience...
