I agree.  I am using the SR41 product on my DSL line.  Its works great.  Any
intrusion testing I have attempted has all failed.  Unless you open ports to
be forwarded inbound on your router, all ports scan as
"stealth/non-acknowledging".

Internally it serves as a DHCP server with NAT.

The DMZ option is just to allow you 1 IP address completely exposed to the
untrusted WAN port.  I would recommend that you do not enable with this
option.

Go to CompUSA and look at the box.  Its pretty self explanatory.

Its a real nice product for $120 USD, for a SOHO.

I've been using one at home and it works pretty well from a firewall point
of view. I'm also running a software-based firewall on my laptop just to be
safe.  You do need to make a few minor changes to your home PC/laptop's
registry if you are using PPPoE connection.  But the router modifications
are extremely simple, IMHO.
