CAVEAT: I'm not a lawyer, and I'm not an export expert, so you
should always contact a lawyer to make sure you do this stuff
right, or you may lose your export license (or worse). Also, some of this
has to do with RETAIL classification. If the US Govt. doesn't
consider your product to be RETAIL, you'll have tighter restrictions.

Since the product I work on does have crypto in it, and we
make two versions (US & Canada, and GLOBAL) I can tell you what
we have clearance to do.

Yes, it is possible export 1024 bit key exchange. You still can't export
to anyone on the denied parties list, or in any of the terrorist
countries.

56 bit. Our global product is 56-bit, and our US & Canada version is 128bit.
Again, you can't sell to any denied parties or to any terrorist nations.

Of course, what can leave the US cannot always be IMPORTED into other
countries, so you have to check their import laws, too.
