I don't think it should be closed, BUT if we are to provide
a useful service why not require atleast
that visitors give us feedback, fill out a form
about what they want to see in the db or what have you.
To ensure that the site evolves we could also have
different levels of access. Guest/Member/Team member.
For each level there could be different options and
"responsibilities".
For instance, "Guest means free access to search, no login etc"
"Member" means you have contributed Q&A and have
access to a more complex search or other bonus.
Team member means you have contributed Q&A
and is regulary doing so. Or that you have contributed
coding or something else(found a sponsor?).
Just ideas .....................
