I believe this message comes into play with the install of SP2. When you
restart fw1 any connections that are established will break with the
error, "unknown established tcp packet". The reason is that when you
restarted fw1 you lost its database of "established connections". What
they told you to do was edit a file to allow previously established
connection traffic to pass after a fw1 restart.
