the basic thing a FW can do is extract flow. so if you do not
have code to capture it, then you're nowhere.

hmmm... Until you get it running and have tested it a long time,
windows based things hide a lot of surprises, just for the benefit of
Mr Kite (the brave guy, ya know:).

ignorance pardoned. just for the matter, that thing ends with "BSD",
which is as powerful as LSD: makes your packet fly wherever you want.
more seriously, BSD is the reference implementation of IP stacks. so
you won't be fluent in TCP/IP unless you speak BSD.

Given that the doc and the example codes MS provide disagree (such as not the
same arguments to a function:) you're seriously needing code that already
works
(For the doc, the bible is easier to find and praying in a church is probably
more effective than praying in MSN. After all, digital faith is not yet
implemented:)
