you'll need to setup up packet filters (and NAT if
you don't have routable addresses) to pass this type of traffic. you'll need to
set up a pair of forward rules for each, dns and icmp, for the traffic coming in
and the traffic going out on their respective interfaces.

Hi,
I have a Gauntlet e-ppliance 300
5.5 and I want to configure ICMP and DNS in this box. While
the 6.0 version has a separate plug proxy for DNS and other services, the
version I am using does not allow this. I have tried fiddling around in
the GUI, but couldn't find a solution. Can anyone throw some light on this
please?
