I did the GIAC Intrusion Detection Course and sent my assistant
to the Windows Security Course. SANS is the BEST. No
doubt
you
will get your money's worth +. If you can only do one course this
year, then SANS must be it.
But we warned. The pace is hot and
fast. If you are doing on the Level 2 courses, you will have no
time for sightseeing. Go to SANS prepared for a brain
buster

Hi all,
Has anyone completed any of the GIAC courses. I am considering doing them to obtain certification in the security field, but I want to know if its worth while. The price is pretty steep and I have to travel to get to the destination as well. The first one that I would attend would either be the "Security Essentials" or Auditing Networks.
